The “2011 SOLATO Ehime Mandarin Pirates Baseball School” took place on December 11 at a baseball field situated alongside the Shigenobu River in Matsuyama City. Taiyo Oil Co., Ltd., is a co-sponsor of the camp.
Participating primary school students received enthusiastic instruction from four players of the Ehime Mandarin Pirates baseball club. Following the instruction session, the participants and Mandarin Pirates players were divided into two teams to play an inter-camp game. The result was a spirited and thrilling contest.
Taiyo Oil will continue to present sports Schools for children as part of regional action programs.
