Taiyo Oil Co., Ltd. provided support to the “Smile Road 2016 street-crossing hand flags revival activities” hosted by FM-Yamaguchi Co., Ltd., and donated 80 street-crossing hand flags to the Yamaguchi Prefecture District Traffic Safety Liaison Council. The street-crossing hand flags will be placed mainly at pedestrian crossings close to kindergartens and elementary schools in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Furthermore, Taiyo Oil will broadcast a radio commercial calling for drivers to drive safely, and will thus aim to increase awareness regarding safe driving.
Going forward, Taiyo Oil will continue to protect children—who are our future—from traffic accidents, and engage in other such activities that contribute to the welfare of communities.
