Taiyo Oil recently held SOLATO Kickoff Meeting 2022.
The SOLATO Kickoff Meeting 2022 was for briefing the personnel of distributors nationwide on the current fiscal year’s sales policies and retail measures, and aligning objectives for the new fiscal year, and it was held in two parts.
During the first part, Representative Member of the Board & Executive Vice President Shingo Yoshii offered remarks, and provided a briefing on Taiyo Oil’s business environment, initiatives for achieving carbon neutrality, and future outlook regarding the industry.
Next, Executive Officer Takahiro Kitajima gave a briefing regarding sales policies for the current fiscal year, and Marketing & Sales Planning Department General Manager Haruki Yoshii spoke about retail measures.
After this, an award ceremony was held for the excellent service stations of FY2021, and award certificates and commemorative items were given to three of the Taiyo Oil-affiliated service stations nationwide that delivered especially outstanding results.
During the second part of the meeting, Kazunari Miura, Head of President’s Office, IID, Inc. gave a lecture on the topic of “a new game of musical chairs that will start with the shift to EV: prospects regarding auto after-service.”
At the event, thorough measures were taken to prevent the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19, and these included wearing masks, providing hand sanitizer, and taking body temperatures.
