Notice of Organization and Personnel Changes

This is to announce the following organization changes and assignments of executive officers, decided upon at the Board of Directors meeting on December 28, 2023 and January 26, 2024.

Organization Changes (effective from April 1, 2024)

Background and purpose of changes

  1. Build the best structure for the effective conduct of business and more effective use of human resources

  2. Review the integrated management structure for recruitment and education, advance human resource strategies, and strengthen technical education

  3. Establish a unified management structure for supply & demand and logistics operations, and enhance resilience in emergency situations

  4. Expand sales channels and strengthen new business bases in Okinawa Prefecture

Details of the changes

1.　Organization changes

　　・The Auditing Department will be placed directly under the President & CEO.

　　・The Human Resources Department and the Education & Human Resources Development Department will
　　  be merged to form the "Human Resources Department."

　　　・The Personnel Group (partially located in Shikoku Operations) and the Education & Training Group
　　　  (partially located in Shikoku Operations) will be placed within the Human Resources Department.

　　・The Supply & Demand Coordination Department and the Logistic Management Department will be
　　  merged to form the "Logistic Management Department."

　　　・The Logistic Strategy Group, Tanker Operation Group, and Lorry Operation Group (located in Shikoku
　　　  Operations) will be placed in the Logistic Management Department.

　　・The International Trading & Shipping Department and the Petrochemical Department will be merged to
　　  form the "International Petro-Materials Business Department."

　　・The Oil Sales Department’s Okinawa Sales & Marketing Office will be reorganized into the
　　  "Okinawa Branch."

2.　Renaming of the Head Office organization

　　・The Oil Sales Department will be renamed the "Industrial Energy Sales Department."

　　・The Logistic Management Department’s Lorry Operation Center will be renamed the "Lorry Operation
　　  Group (located in Shikoku Operations)."

　　・The Corporate Planning Department’s Sustainability Management & Promotion Group will be renamed
　　  the "Carbon Neutrality Promotion Group," and the New Business Planning & Development Group will
　　  be renamed the "New Business Planning & Development Group in Yamaguchi Operations."
