SOLATO-kun's 2017 Christmas Event for Children

Taiyo Oil provided support for SOLATO-kun’s 2017 Christmas Event for Children, an event sponsored by Yamaguchi Shimbun, held on Saturday, December 23rd at Watanabe Memorial Hall located in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This was the third time for Taiyo Oil to support this event.

Parents and children in Yamaguchi Prefecture were invited to attend this event free of charge, and it included stage-based entertainment such as an animation screening, special Christmas show, and raffle hosted by Santa. Also, Taiyo Oil’s brand character “SOLATO-kun” made an appearance much to the delight of the audience. Santa hats were given to the children and the audience sang Christmas songs together, so the venue was filled with Christmas spirit.

Furthermore, all of the children were given special “SOLATO-kun handbags” filled with many snacks and SOLATO-kun goods, and these slightly early Christmas presents brought smiles to the faces of the children.

After the event ended, Santa and SOLATO-kun saw off the visitors, and had fun posing for photos together with many of the children.

As part of our social contribution programs, Taiyo Oil will continue to hold such events to support the rich spiritual development of children who will be responsible for the next generation.
