Taiyo Oil receives letter of appreciation from Yamaguchi Prefecture

2022.05.18

In March of this year, Taiyo Oil (President & CEO: Yutaka Oka) contributed donation money to Yamaguchi Prefecture, where the company’s Yamaguchi Operations is located, for the prefecture’s “donations in support of measures against COVID-19 in Yamaguchi.”

A related donation-presentation ceremony was recently held at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Office at which Member of the Board and Senior Executive Officer Shinji Nakayama gave remarks, commenting, “We would like to do whatever we can as a company in order to help create a society in which people can live with peace of mind.” He then presented Yamaguchi Prefecture Governor Tsugumasa Muraoka with a donation list. Governor Muraoka acknowledged the donation by stating, “We shall utilize the donation effectively in order to support the security and safety of our citizens,” and then gave Taiyo Oil a letter of appreciation.

Taiyo Oil extends its deepest sympathies to the people who have been affected by the infectious disease COVID-19 and sincerely hopes that the crisis quickly comes to an end.
