At the end of September this year, Taiyo Oil and Taiyo Oil group company Nansei Sekiyu K.K. donated relief funds to the town of Nishihara-cho in Okinawa Prefecture, where Nansei Sekiyu K.K. is located, in response to Typhoon Khanun, which occurred in August 2023.
A related presentation ceremony was recently held at Nishihara-cho Town Hall at which Nansei Sekiyu K.K. President Osamu Murakami, on behalf of Taiyo Oil, gave Nishihara-cho a donation list. Nishihara-cho Mayor Seishu Sakihara expressed the town’s gratitude, stating that it had been in need of fiscal stimulus for public infrastructure repairs and so on.
Taiyo Oil extends its deepest sympathies to the people who have been affected by the typhoon and sincerely hopes that the crisis quickly comes to an end.
